Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture is an ancient practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), dating back over 1,000 years. Originally used by Chinese royalty to maintain a youthful appearance, it is a natural, holistic approach to skin health and overall well-being. Unlike Botox or fillers, facial acupuncture works from the inside out, stimulating circulation, collagen production, and the body's healing response to improve skin tone, elasticity, and radiance.
What to Expect
Your first session will be similar to a traditional acupuncture consultation to investigate any underlying health or lifestyle issues that may be contributing to your facial or skin concerns, for example poor sleep or digestion issues. The treatment is likely to involve less facial points than subsequent treatments and more body points.
During a follow up session, ultra-fine needles are placed in the face to increase blood flow and collagen production, with additional body points to help balance internal health.
The treatment is gentle and deeply relaxing. Many people notice a natural glow after one session, with longer-term benefits—including reduced fine lines, firmer skin, and improved complexion—becoming more visible over multiple treatments.
I offer packages of 6 treatments and advise 12 weekly treatments before cutting down to maintenance sessions of once every month or two.
