About Jesse

Seeing the whole person

I'm Jesse, an acupuncturist, artist and lifelong observer of people.

What first drew me to Chinese medicine was its way of seeing the body as an interconnected, communicating whole. Rather than asking, "How do we silence this symptom?" it asks, "What is the body trying to tell us?"

That perspective still shapes every treatment I give today.

Each presentation is a fascinating puzzle. I'm endlessly curious about why bodies - and minds -  behave the way they do. That curiosity continues to shape my practice through ongoing study, careful listening and learning from every person who walks through my door.

My Approach

Before and alongside acupuncture, my work as an artist and complex care-worker has shaped how I see people. Both have taught me that meaningful change rarely comes from rushing or forcing. It begins with careful observation, genuine curiosity and creating the right conditions for growth.

That philosophy sits at the heart of Green Leaf Acupuncture.

Whether you're living with pain, stress, fatigue, hormonal changes or recovering from injury, my aim is to understand the bigger picture rather than simply chase symptoms. Every treatment is tailored to you as an individual, recognising that your body, your experiences and your story are unlike anyone else's.

Together, we'll work with your body rather than against it - supporting its natural ability to adapt, regulate and heal, one small, sustainable step at a time.

Training & Professional Practice

I trained in acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and continue to deepen my clinical skills through ongoing professional development.

My extra training includes in-depth study on pain & injury management, emotional wellbeing and facial acupuncture, allowing me to offer safe, effective and holistic care tailored to each individual.

I am fully insured and committed to maintaining high professional standards in my practice.

Why Green Leaf?

The name Green Leaf reflects the way I see health.

A leaf doesn't unfurl because it's forced to. It grows because the conditions are right.

I believe healing works in much the same way. Rather than trying to fight your body into change, my role is to help create the conditions in which it can do what it has evolved to do: heal, adapt and grow.

Supporting growth, at your own pace. Wherever you are, let's start there.

Beyond the clinic

Outside the clinic, you'll usually find me making art, reading history, spending time in nature or working on community creative projects. I believe curiosity is one of the greatest gifts we can bring to both healthcare and life, and I'm always learning.
